The reason I am wanting to get started is because my little girl, Lilly Anne isn't getting any younger. She just keeps growing and doing new stuff every day! She is 10 weeks tomorrow! She was born Friday, July 8, 2011. Happy Birthday Jonathan and Shannon! She was born on my husband and friend's birthdays. I actually did get them gifts, not just a baby.
Let me give you a little history of Mr and Mrs. Jonathan Reding before I introduce our newest member of the family (what I'm more excited about too!).
Jonathan and I have been married for three years; four on March 29. We got married in Heber Springs, Arkansas because his family has a home there on about 90 acres. The plan was to wed on the land but rain pushed us to Plan B, The Red Apple Inn. We are married just the same and wouldn't be any happier had we gotten married outside. We got married towards the end of Jonathans third year of medical school and lived in Little Rock, AR until he finished in 2009. In June 2009, we moved to Memphis, TN to start a 6 year residency program in Neurosurgery. First year, busy with work. I worked at a clothing store and freelanced with Laura Mercier. Second year, busier with work, studying for boards and I was traveling more with Laura Mercier and we were pregnant! My sister had her baby boy 9 weeks early in Fayetteville, AR. She went into hospital for dehydration and due to complications had to deliver via emergency c-section. I found out I was pregnant the morning she had Asa. I told her the next day...She cried tears of joy and then asked me a bunch of questions. I told Jonathan when I picked him up at the airport that night. I held up a sign that said "Jonathan Reding" and then I flipped it to reveal a sign that read, "Daddy Reding". He teared up! :)
our vacation with family in europe after graduation
Well, about 41 weeks later, Lilly Anne Reding, a beautiful and perfect baby girl was added to our family. We are head over heals in love with her. She is our Lilly-girl, girls, lovey, baby, hers, precious, angel, pumpkin, darlin', dumplin', and every other sweet food you can think of. We are so grateful to the Giver of everything beautiful for entrusting us with her one life. Speaking of our sweet baby, I have to go feed her. I will post another soon telling about her first 2 months of life.
